Internships

The focused education provided by the Master of Biotechnology Program does not allow time for student participation in industry internships during the five quarters of enrollment.  However, experience in the biotechnology industry as an intern can be a valuable training opportunity for students.  We support placement of newly enrolled MBP students in internships during the summer before the first year of matriculation.  The MBP will provide admitted students with information about corporate intern programs and will assist with connections to corporate hiring managers.  Because companies typically select interns in the January-March period, students who desire assistance with internships are strongly encouraged to apply early to the MBP and to inform the MBP of their interest.
