Industry Advisory Board

The Industry Advisory Board composed of scientific and business leaders from major biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies guides the MBP in academic and administrative matters.  In the academic program, the Board contributes to:
  • Enhancing curricula to reflect contemporary business and society biotechnology needs
  • Fostering links with the biotechnology community
  • Ensuring curriculum excellence through outcomes assessment
  • Identifying training needs in research

In the administration realm, the Board advises on:

  • Strategies for student recruitment
  • Methods for marketing the MBP
  • Tactics for student placement
  • Plans for expanded educational activities
The annual meeting of the Board at Northwestern University serves as the main forum for program review and deliberation.  Communications between the MBP and Board members provide additional input throughtout the year.
