Visiting Campus
The MBP director and faculty encourage all prospective students to come to campus for a brief interview and visit. This visit will allow you to see Northwestern’s campus and research facilities, meet the faculty, ask questions, and present a case for your admission in person. The faculty highly value this opportunity to get to know you better so that they may ensure that the program is a good fit for you.
Please plan to be on campus for about a half-day. Your schedule for the day will include interviews with Program Associate Director Dr. Igor Kourkine and other MBP faculty, meetings with current graduate students, laboratory tours, and lunch.
Northwestern campus tours
If you are interested in seeing more of Northwestern’s Evanston campus after your visit to with the MBP, you may attend one of the campus tours offered by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Tours leave daily from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (1801 Hinman Avenue) at 2:00 p.m. and generally last about one and a half hours.
You may also choose to attend an information session prior to the tour at 1:15 p.m. These sessions are intended to give visitors a broader understanding of what Northwestern has to offer as well as the opportunity to ask questions.
Reservations are not required for the tour or the information session.
If you would like to schedule a campus visit please contact
