Seminars
The M.S. in Biotechnology Program offers a sequence of seminar series that focus on the non-technical aspects of a biotechnology education. Seminars, including those in our
Technological Commercialization series, cover a variety of topics such as intellectual property, compliance and regulatory affairs, cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), process development, communication skills, inter-personal skills, and career development.
Seminars are presented by experts from biotechnology and related industries. MBP students have the opportunity to interact individually and in groups with the speakers during and after the seminars. Additionally, numerous seminars on all aspects of biotechnology are available through other NU departments and feature leading academic and industrial experts.
